Make your own terrarium!
Carolyn and I have had lots of fun terrarium making this summer. Our favorites were terrariums we made out of retro lamps, like the one below.
For this one I used white marble gravel and soil for layering; decorative pebbles, drift wood and a shell for decoration; and this pretty succulent and its three little babies. Some of the others we made included moss, dinosaur and animal figurines and sand. The more creative you get, the more fun you’ll have!

Hey Everyone!
Don’t forget to check out our Etsy Shop. Christmas items coming in December.
Adios, Summertime!
This summer we had lots of visitors from Mexico, including Pablo’s friend Oswaldo. It was the perfect excuse to do all the touristy things around the city! Here we all are at the Sounders vs. Chelsea Match.
For my birthday, my family and I visited the Oregon Coast, stopping in Newport, Lincoln City, Tillamook, and Seaside. It was so fun to return to these places after almost 10 years and getting to share them with Pablo for the first time!
While I am sad to see summer go, I am excited for all the fall projects Carolyn and I are planning. Until next time…

My Summer
Wow, we took a break from our blog, but we are back and back with photos from our summers!! These photos are from my sister’s wedding in May. Her and her husband were married in Marin Headlands, California. Both of these pictures are views from the house my family rented. The top photo is a view from the roof and the bottom photo is a view from the bedroom. Sausalito is amazing!!
My Husband and I also went to Eastern, Washington to visit his family.
We also celebrated my 28th Birthday this summer. Here are some photos from the surprise party my husband threw me 🙂 It is the best feeling opening a door and seeing all the faces you love in one room. That should happen everyday!
All and all I had a great summer. Looking forward to more blogging and more Restrospective projects to come!!

Pillow Fight!
Sorry it has been so long since our last post, we have been busy. But, we are back with photos of our collection of vintage fabric pillows. All the fabric for these pillows were found at local thrift stores.
What we enjoy most about these pillows are that they are all so different and unique. They have been very popular and we are looking forward to our winter collection! Sweater pillows anyone?! A huge THANK YOU to our friend and neighbor Sayed for taking these photos. Check out his blog at http://guyeatsoctopus.com/
